Saul Hudson better known by his stage name Slash.
The is the lead guitarist in the american hard rock band Guns'n'Roses.
He performed with the band in 1985-1996.
Later he formed Slash's snakepit, and co-founded Velvet Revolver with his former bandmates Duff Mckagan and Matt Sorum.
In April 2010 he released his solo album Slash.
Slash is born on July 23, 1965 in Hampstead in West London.
When he was 11 him and his family moved to Los Angeles, California.
He was given the nickname "Slash" by a friend of the family because he was
"Always in a hurry, zipping around from one thing to another"
Slash owns more than 100 guitares.
His favourite is a Gibson Les Paul Copy,
He received it during the recording sessions for Guns'N'Roses debut album
Appetite For Destruction.
In 2005 he won the prise for Best Guitarist - Esky Music Awards in Esquire magazine.
In January he was honored with star on the Roch Walt of Fame.
